Hello. My name is Matthew Beckler, and this is my webpage. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in May 2008, with a BS in Computer Engineering. I then spent a few years at Carnegie Mellon University getting a MS and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I went ABD for a while and finally finished my dissertation and graduated in May 2017.
I use linux on nearly all my computers. It's pretty awesome, and you'd probably enjoy using linux too. If you have any linux questions, feel free to email me, and I'll help you as best I can.
I'm married to an awesome woman named Anna. She's the best.
My friend Adam Wolf and I make open source electronics and do help other people build excellent things: Wayne and Layne.

I studied for my Amateur Radio Extra-class license using the awesome website HamTestOnline. It really helped me learn the material, and went above and beyond just memorizing exam questions, by including materials to help me learn the assorted subjects on the exam.
